Through a dark period of constant police brutality and racial injustices, our community came together to hold an in-person march for children to voice their rights on equality and feel pride in their blackness. We were accompanied by ex NFL Player and Children’s Author, Martel Bennet, who read his most recent book to the kids. We spent the day face painting, eating ice cream and reclaiming our joy with all families in attendance.
